Went to lunch today with some friends from work and as we sat and waited for our orders to be ready the poor little girl behind the counter yells out "Voltron! your orders ready!" hahahaha. If you have not seen the movie "Hot Rod" it is a must see!Thanks Leo!

Liars!!

So last night I called  a local Golf course and spoke to a nice gentlemen and was able to book a T-time for 8:30 this morning for myself and my Friend. I got all of my stuff ready last night and also charged my portable speakers so that we could have music to listen too. 

Well I wake up this morning and text my "Friend" and found out that he ditched me and isn't going to come! I sat in bed for about 20 minutes before I decided to just eat the cost and golf alone. So I threw myself together and and got to the course 15 minutes early as they request you to do, and found out the the "nice gentlemen" had lied to me and was not there! I waited for 45 minutes and also called all the numbers that I could find on there site and was not able to get a hold of anyone and they have still not called me back!

Moral of the story is that "friends" that tell you they are going to go with you golfing and then ditch you are not really your friend! And second moral to the story is to never trust a "nice gentlemen" that tells you he will be at work at 8:30am!

Sick at Work :(

I usually look forward to to my Fridays and the clients that I talked to today but unfortunately I did not fall asleep until 3am and then woke up feeling sick! My brother has been sick all week so I am pretty sure he got me sick and now is have a stuffy nose and sore throat and had to come into work. I have never used "Cold-EEze" before but a very cute girl at work gave me some so here goes nothing! Hopefully these things work out and I start feeling better because I really don't want to get sick this weekend. Well thanks "cute girl" at work hopefully your mystery medicine works wonders and saves my weekend.

Festival of Colors?

Each year there is this big "Festival of Colors" that the Krishna Temple in Salem puts on a thousands of people flock to this once a year gathering like mice to cheese. If you have never been to this gathering go to anyone of your female friends Facebook page and I can almost guarantee they have a picture of themselves covered in colored chalk. I don't know why but I have never really wanted to go to one of these Festivals but this year I have been invited to go with several different groups of friends and I am seriously debating going. I guess its one of those you just gotta do it to say you've done it type things. I would definitely like to get a few opinions on if its worth going or not, or if it really is as awesome as everyone says it is. Feel free to comment and let me know your feelings, and if I go I will for sure have a part 2 to this post and let you know how it went.

Why Must I Struggle

I am currently trying to sell my 2004 Chevy Silverado on ksl so the other day I was taking pictures and and cleaning up the truck to make it look a little more presentable. As I got under the center counsel I found that the entire counsel comes out with 2 bolts. That may not sound like such a great find to most of you but for those of you who know about the struggle I had putting my "custom" speaker box in you know that it could have been a big help about 3 months ago. About 3 months ago it took me about 3 hours to put in the speaker box and by put in I mean kick the crap out of and nearly drive my truck off a cliff in frustration.  Knowing what I know now I could have simply take the counsel out and slid the box right in, so I ask Why Must I Struggle? but hey! at least it looks good!

Nachos From Yesterday :(

Today I made a mistake that millions of men before me have made... I ate leftover nachos from yesterday! As we all know men are not the smartest animals walking on the face of the earth so clearly we do not learn from each others mistakes! and lets be honest Females are way too smart to eat anything from yesterday that was not in the fridge. Needless to say my entire day consisted of close calls and pushing old ladies out of my way as I ran to the restroom(lol jk)

But there was one great part of my day that I would like to share and that was when my sister in law sent me a video of my nephew jumping up and down in his crib which was cute as heck and could pretty much make all the stomach pains in the world seem like a slap on the wrist.

Moral of the story is to NOT eat nachos from yesterday and have a really cute nephew so that he can make you smile even when he is 734 miles away.
